Ponder This

Our Father did not design the life of a believer to grow dimmer with time. According to Proverbs 4:18, the path of the righteous is like a shining light that grows brighter and brighter. As we walk with Christ, we increase in wisdom, faith, love, discernment, and spiritual maturity.

Fresh radiance is the evidence of a life that remains connected to the Source. The world may grow darker, challenges may arise, and seasons may change, but the light of Christ within shines more and more.

Sometimes we become weary and lose sight of how far Our Father has brought us. Yet this Scripture reminds us that our journey is progressive. We are not called to live on yesterday’s revelation, yesterday’s faith, or yesterday’s encounters. Our Father continually illuminates our path and reveals more of His character and purpose in our lives.

Let us ask ourselves: Are we growing brighter in Christ, or have we allowed distractions, disappointments, or complacency to dull our light?

The righteous path is one of continual increase. As we abide in Him, His light shines through us with fresh radiance.

Is the light of Christ becoming more evident in my attitude and actions?

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for leading me on a path that grows brighter and brighter. Renew my passion for You and remove anything that would diminish Your light in my life. Thank You for helping me to walk closely with You so that Your wisdom, love, and truth shine through me each day. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
