What Are You Reporting to Your Territory?
Scripture
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
Ponder This
Every day, we are reporting something to our territory.
Our homes hear our words. Our families hear our words. Our workplaces hear our words. Even our own hearts listen to what we repeatedly say.
The question is not whether we are reporting, it is what are we reporting?
Are we reporting fear or faith? Defeat or victory? Problems or promises? Darkness or light?
The twelve spies all saw the same land, but they brought back different reports. Ten reported obstacles. Two reported opportunity. Ten focused on giants. Joshua and Caleb focused on the greatness of Our Father. The report they carried revealed what they believed.
As the Bride of Christ, we must guard our conversations. Constantly rehearsing problems can strengthen fear, but declaring the Word of Our Father strengthens faith. This does not mean we deny reality; it means we choose to magnify Our Father above every circumstance.
Our territory needs believers who report hope, truth, and faith. Our families need to hear that Our Father is faithful. Our communities need to hear that Jesus still saves, heals, restores, and delivers. Our own hearts need to hear the promises of Our Father more than the predictions of fear.
Before we speak today, let us ask ourselves: If everyone around us believed my report, would they be encouraged to trust Our Father in Heaven more?
Prayer
Our Father, forgive us for every word that has magnified fear, doubt, or unbelief. Thank You for helping us to become faithful reporters of Your truth. We choose for our words to strengthen faith, bring hope, and point others to Jesus Christ. We choose for our conversations to reflect Your promises and not our fears. Thank You for teaching us to speak life over our homes, our families, our communities, and our future. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
