Pull Them Out
Scripture Anchor:
“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”
— Jude 1:23 (KJV)
Devotional Word:
This is not the hour to sit back and watch the fire consume lives. This is the hour to reach in and pull them out.
You were not rescued to forget the heat. You were rescued to go back in - clothed in fireproof grace and commissioned with Kingdom authority. Jude’s words are urgent: don’t just pray for them, pull them out. Don’t just talk about darkness - invade it.
Some are teetering on the edge - stuck in cycles, shame, or silence. But you, beloved, have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom (Colossians 1:13). That means you know the way out - and now, you must show others the way through.
To pull them out is to interrupt the enemy’s plan.
To pull them out is to expose the lies they’ve believed.
To pull them out is to love so fiercely, pray so boldly, and speak so truthfully that hell loses its grip.
The gates of hell will not prevail (Matthew 16:18), but they must be challenged. Don’t wait for souls to stumble toward the church doors - go get them. Go to the schools, the streets, the families, the friend groups. Go with love, go with urgency, go with power.
You carry the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18–20). You are the rescue mission.
Reflection Questions:
1. Who in your life needs to be “pulled out” of something today?
2. Are you equipped with prayer and truth, or have you been watching from a distance?
3. What step will you take today to reach someone stuck in the fire?
Declaration:
I am anointed to rescue. I will not fear the fire - I carry the water. I will not shrink back - I step in. I am a soul-winner, a gate-crasher, and a fire-puller. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and I go in His strength to proclaim liberty to the captives. In Jesus’ name, I pull them out.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for rescuing me. Now, stir up the fire within me to rescue others. Give me eyes to see the bound, the weary, and the forgotten. Anoint me to speak truth, love boldly, and war in prayer. Let my life be a lifeline for others. Teach my hands to pull, not push away. Teach my heart to feel what You feel. Send me, Lord, I will go. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
