Discover Amazement
Scripture
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
Ponder This
Our Father said He would show us great and mighty things we do not know. That means there is more happening than what we currently perceive. More within us. More around us. More being revealed in real time. But amazement requires our attention. It requires us to slow down enough to recognize what has always been there.
Amazement is not something we have to create. It is something we become aware of. It shifts us out of routine and into recognition. It opens our eyes to the fact that our lives are not ordinary, and that Our Father is not distant. He is actively revealing, actively moving, and actively showing.
When we pause and call unto Him, not out of pressure but out of connection, we begin to see differently. What felt small becomes significant. What felt normal becomes meaningful. What felt unnoticed becomes clear.
We don’t have to search far. We don’t have to strive. We simply become aware. Because there are great and mighty things already being shown. And when we allow ourselves to see, we discover that amazement has been present all along.
Examination
Have I been moving too quickly to recognize what Our Father is already showing me?
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for Your invitation to call and to see. Thank You for revealing great and mighty things that we have not yet fully recognized. Thank You for drawing our attention back to what You are already doing. We choose to slow down, to become aware, and to remain open to what You are showing. Thank You for helping us to see with clarity and to recognize the movement of Your hand in our lives. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
