Faithfully Follow Through

Ponder This

There is something captivating about fresh revelation. We love when Our Father unveils new understanding through His Word. Those moments fill us with wonder and strengthen our faith. However, revelation is never meant to replace follow-through.

Our Father doesn’t reveal truth simply to increase our knowledge. He reveals truth to transform our lives and engage us as doers of His will and His Word. Every revelation is an invitation to faithfully follow through.

His Word is a lamp unto our feet, not a floodlight for the entire journey. He gives us enough light for the next step, then calls us to faithfully follow through.

Faithfully following through begins with what Our Father has already made clear in His Word. Be a witness of what Christ has done in your life. Share the gospel with those who are lost. Give generously to advance His Kingdom. Pray without ceasing and intercede as Holy Spirit leads. Forgive as you have been forgiven. Serve one another in love. Whatever Our Father has revealed through His Word and by His Spirit, faithfully follow through.

As you seek Him, don’t rush past what He has already shown you. Instead, pause and ask yourself:

Am I faithfully following through on what Our Father has already revealed to me?

As we faithfully follow through on what Our Father reveals, He entrusts us with greater understanding. Revelation is not merely something to admire and speak on, it is something to live.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for revealing Yourself through Your Word and by Your Holy Spirit. Forgive me for the times I have delayed or neglected what You have already shown me. Renew the right spirit in me to faithfully follow through. I choose to be transformed by engaging as a doer of Your will and Your Word. Strengthen me to faithfully complete every assignment You place before me. I desire to be pleasing in Your sight, bringing glory to Your name and advancing Your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
