Life Is Short - Reach Out While You Can

Life Is Short - Reach Out While You Can

Scripture

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

— Psalm 90:12 (KJV)

Ponder This

Life moves quickly. One moment we are making plans for tomorrow, and the next we are reminded how fragile and temporary life truly is.

We could depart this life sooner than we think.

Because of this, we should live intentionally, not wasting our days in bitterness, distractions, pride, compromise, or meaningless pursuits, but using our time for what truly matters eternally.

There are people around us who are hurting, searching, broken, and spiritually lost. Some have never truly encountered the love and salvation of Jesus Christ. Others once walked closely with Him but drifted away through pain, disappointment, deception, or weariness.

As believers, we are called to pray, love, encourage, teach, and share the truth while there is still time.

This is not about fear. It is about urgency with compassion.

Every conversation matters. Every prayer matters. Every act of obedience matters.

Sometimes reaching someone begins with a simple invitation, a kind word, a testimony, a prayer, or choosing to love them when it would be easier to walk away.

We may not be able to reach everyone, but we can be faithful with the people Our Father places in front of us.

Life is short. Souls matter. And eternity is real.

Let us be about Our Father's business.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for teaching us to value our time and live with wisdom and purpose. Thank You for helping us to understand the importance of not getting distracted by things that do not matter eternally. Fill our hearts with compassion for those who do not know You. Give us boldness to pray, love, encourage, and share the truth of Jesus Christ while there is still time. We choose for our lives to reflect Your heart and Your light. Use us to point others toward salvation, hope, and truth. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
