Order and Submission

Order and Submission

Scripture

“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.”

— 1 Peter 5:5 (KJV)

Ponder This

World Changers,

Submission is humility.

Many resist order because pride convinces them not to submit, but instead to operate in independence

and govern themselves. Yet independence outside of Our Father’s order is not strength, it is rebellion dressed as self-sufficiency.

Pride resists alignment. Humility honors order.

Submission is not weakness, it is strength under proper authority.

When we step outside of the order Our Father has established, we often step outside of the grace assigned to sustain us there.

There is grace in humility.

There is strength in submission.

There is blessing in order.

Walk It Out

Ask yourself today:

“Have I mistaken independence for strength in any area of my life?”

Then choose alignment over self-will.

Prayer

Our Father, We choose to be clothed with humility. Remove every trace of pride, rebellion, and self-exaltation from our hearts. Thank You for teaching us to honor the order You establish and to submit where You have called us to align. Keep us from independence that leads us outside of Your covering. We choose humility. Align our lives so that we may receive the grace You freely give. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
