Our Father's Love and Presence

Ponder This

We are not walking through life alone. Our Father is in the midst of us. That means He is not distant from our situations, our homes, our questions, or our daily lives. He is mighty among us. He saves. He rejoices over us. He rests in His love toward us. He even sings over us. That is not the posture of a distant God; it is the heart of a present Father.

And this same Father is not only with us, but He is also within us. Christ in us is our hope of glory. His Spirit lives inside us, strengthening us when we feel weak, guiding us when we feel unsure, and reminding us that we carry Heaven’s life within.

When we feel overwhelmed, He is with us. When we feel empty, He is within us. When life feels uncertain, His love remains settled.

Because He is with us, we are not alone.

Because He is within us, we are not powerless.

We do not have to strive to reach His presence. We live surrounded by His love and filled with His Spirit. Let us move through today aware. We are upheld on the outside and strengthened on the inside.

We are loved, accompanied, and filled with hope.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for being in the midst of us and living within us. We accept and embrace that Your love quietens our hearts and Your Spirit strengthens our steps. Thank You for helping us to live aware that we are never alone and never without hope. We choose to receive Your peace today. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
