Speak the Word

Speak the Word

Scripture

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

Ponder This

Our Father has given us more than thoughts. He has given us His Word to speak aloud. Throughout Scripture, we see that His Word carries His authority, accomplishes His purposes, and produces fruit.

When fear whispers, speak His Word. When discouragement comes, speak His Word.

When uncertainty tries to cloud your vision, speak His Word. Rather than agreeing with circumstances, choose to agree with Him.

Jesus modeled this for us. When He was tempted in the wilderness, He did not argue with the enemy or rely on His emotions. He answered every temptation with, “It is written.” The Word of Our Father became His response, and it remains our best response today.

As we fill our hearts with His truth, our mouths become instruments of faith instead of fear, hope instead of despair, and more than abundant life instead of death. Speak what Our Father has said and trust Him to accomplish what only He can do.

Speak His Word. Release it in your territory!

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for the power of Your Living Word. Thank You for helping me to hide it in my heart so that it flows from my mouth with faith and confidence. Thank You for teaching me to agree with what You have spoken rather than what my circumstances appear to look or feel like. I choose for my words to reflect Your truth, strengthen those around me, and bring glory to Your name. I choose to speak Your Word and trust that You will bring forth wonderful results. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
