We Are in Our Father’s Care

Scripture

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

— 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Ponder This

Our Father never intended for us to carry the weight of life’s cares. Instead, He invites us to intentionally place every burden, every worry, every unanswered question, and every concern into His hands because He cares for us.

As we entrust our cares to Our Father, we make room for His peace, His wisdom, and His direction. We also create space to faithfully steward the work and assignments He has entrusted to us. If our hearts and minds are consumed with carrying what belongs to Him, we will struggle to fully embrace what He has called us to do.

How we process our cares will influence the quality of our lives and our effectiveness in advancing His Kingdom. We can either carry our cares, or we can carry His Word and assignments, but we cannot do both well. Be encouraged to choose to release every care into Our Father’s hands and move forward with confidence, knowing you are safely held in His loving care.

Reflection

Am I carrying something that belongs in Our Father’s hands? What assignment has He called me to embrace with greater freedom as I release my cares to Him?

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for caring so faithfully for me. I choose to cast every care upon You, trusting that You are already working on my behalf. Fill me with Your peace, renew my strength, and thank You for helping me to faithfully steward every assignment You have entrusted to me. I choose for my heart to remain free from heaviness so I can joyfully fulfill Your purpose. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
