Welcome the Unknown
Scripture
"For we walk by faith, not by sight:"
— 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
Ponder This
The unknown can make us uncomfortable because we naturally want certainty. We want to know how things will work out, when Our Father will move, and what the next step will look like. Yet faith does not require complete understanding. Faith requires trust.
Many of Our Father's greatest invitations were wrapped in uncertainty. Abraham did not know where he was going. Peter did not know what would happen when he stepped out of the boat. The disciples did not fully understand where Jesus was leading them. Yet they moved forward because they trusted the One who was leading them.
As believers, we do not fear the unknown because our future is not unknown to Our Father. What feels uncertain to us is already known to Him. He sees the beginning and the end. He knows every provision, every connection, every lesson, and every victory along the way.
Instead of resisting the unknown, we can welcome it as an opportunity to witness Our Father's faithfulness. The unknown is often the place where trust grows, faith matures, and miracles unfold.
Today, let us embrace the leadership of Holy Spirit. Our confidence is not in knowing everything. Our confidence is in knowing the One who knows everything...Our Father.
Reflection
Am I trusting Our Father only when I understand, or am I willing to follow Him into the unknown?
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for helping us welcome the unknown with faith instead of fear. Thank You for teaching us to trust Your leadership when we cannot see the entire path. Thank You for reminding us that You are present every day. Strengthen our faith, quiet our worries, and thank You for helping us walk confidently wherever You lead. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
