A Faithful Father

“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.”

Ponder This

Our Father is faithful. He is faithful when we understand, and He is faithful when we do not. He is faithful in seasons of abundance and faithful in seasons of waiting. His character never changes, His Word never fails, and His love never runs out.

As the Bride of Christ, we can rest in the assurance that Our Father keeps His promises. He does not forget what He has spoken. He does not abandon His children. Even when circumstances seem uncertain, His faithfulness remains our firm foundation.

Remember that you are not trusting in a promise alone, you are trusting in a faithful Father. The One who began a good work in you is able to complete it. The One who called you is able to sustain you. The One who loves you is able to keep you.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. Thank You for helping me to trust You more deeply and to rest in the certainty of Your love and promises. Though I have troubles in this life, thank You for reminding me that You are always faithful. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
