Through Longsuffering… I’ll Still Bless You!
Scripture
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.”
— Ephesians 5:19-21
Ponder This
Longsuffering is more than enduring hardship, it is remaining steadfast in faith while trusting the heart of Our Father. It is choosing worship when circumstances are difficult, praise when answers seem delayed, and trust when the path ahead seems so unclear.
Anyone can bless Our Father when everything is going well. But faith is revealed when we can say, “Our Father, even in this season, I'll still bless You. Even when I do not understand, I'll still trust You. Even through the waiting, I'll still worship You.”
Longsuffering reminds us that the goodness of Our Father is not measured by our circumstances. His love does not change. His promises do not fail. His faithfulness is not dependent upon what we see but upon who He is.
The Bride of Christ does not praise because life is easy. We praise because Our Father is worthy. We bless Him because He has been faithful in every season and will remain faithful forever.
World Changers, let this be our declaration:
“Through longsuffering, I’ll still bless You. Through delays, I’ll still bless You. Through disappointments, I’ll still bless You. Through unanswered questions, I’ll still bless You. My praise is not based on what I see, it is anchored in who You are, Our Father in Heaven!”
As we continue to bless Our Father in difficult seasons, we discover that He is faithful to sustain us as His presence carries us until His purpose is fulfilled in and through us. Hallelujah!!!
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness. Thank You for strengthening me to remain steadfast when the journey is long and the answers seem far away. I choose to let my trust rise above fear, and for my praise to rise above circumstances. I choose to bless You in every season because You are eternal, perfect, worthy, faithful, and true. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
