Ponder This

Where you choose to remain matters.

Our Father knows that what we continually hear eventually shapes what we believe. Before compromise ever becomes an action, it usually begins with a conversation. That’s why this passage shows us a progression: we walk, then stand, then finally sit. What was once passing by can become a place we call home.

World Changers, Our Father has not called us to be influenced by the world, but to influence the world through Christ. Be careful whose counsel you embrace, where you linger, and what you allow to become familiar. If a voice pulls you away from truth, it is leading you away from life. Stay close to the One whose Word never changes.

The safest place you’ll ever sit is in the presence of Our Father.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for leading us in the way of truth. Thank You for giving us discernment to recognize every voice that competes with Yours. Thank You for teaching us to delight in Your Word and to remain where Your presence strengthens us. We choose to guard our hearts from compromise, establish our steps in righteousness, and to influence others without being influenced by the world. We choose for our lives to bring glory to You forever. We desire and choose to bless You! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
