Bridal Convictions
Scripture
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
-1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
Ponder This
We, the Bride of Christ, do not stand trembling. We stand rejoicing. Our convictions are not heavy chains. They are covenant joy. We are not trying to survive culture. We are preparing for a Bridegroom.
Standing strong is not defensive posture, it is joyful alignment. We stand because we are chosen. We stand because we are loved. We stand because we know Who is coming.
World Changers must understand:
Conviction is celebration.
It is saying,
“I am not available for what diminishes me.”
“I am not negotiating what He has already made holy.”
We do not grit our teeth to remain pure. We rejoice to remain faithful. The Bride does not envy the world. She anticipates the wedding. When we know we are His, standing is not strain, it is strength wrapped in joy.
Steadfast.
Unmovable.
Rejoicing.
That is bridal conviction.
Prayer
Our Father, Strengthen us as Your radiant Bride. We choose to let our convictions be joyful, not heavy. We choose to let our standing be worship, not resistance. Root us so deeply in Your love
that compromise loses its appeal. We rejoice in belonging to You. We rejoice in being set apart. We rejoice in standing firm. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
