Do Not Let Evil Hijack Your Love for The Lord

Do Not Let Evil Hijack Your Love for The Lord

Scripture

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Matthew 24:12 (KJV)

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Romans 12:21 (KJV)

Ponder This

Not every cooling of the heart comes from sin. Sometimes it comes from waiting. From prayers that feel delayed. From outcomes that look different than expected. From seasons of silence. From watching darkness increase around you.

Jesus warned that love can grow cold. Not because Our Father changed, but because hearts grow weary. If we are not careful, delay can become disappointment. Disappointment can become distance. Distance can become cold devotion. Evil doesn’t always try to make you rebel. Sometimes it simply tries to make you tired. Tired of praying. Tired of believing. Tired of hoping.

But hear this:

Our Father’s silence is not His absence. Delay is not denial. Waiting is not wasted. Do not let seasons you don’t understand diminish the love you do have.

Guard your devotion.

Stay in the Word. Worship while you wait. Pray even when answers are forming unseen.

Do not let evil hijack your affection for The Lord. Stay tender. Stay anchored. Stay in love.

Prayer

Our Father, when I do not understand the season, keep my heart warm. When answers are delayed, keep my love alive. I choose not to let weariness cool my devotion. Anchor me in You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
