Don’t Fumble or Forfeit

Don’t Fumble or Forfeit

Scripture

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.”

Hebrews 10:35 (KJV)

Ponder This

In Christ, you’re carrying something priceless - promise, purpose, and authority. The enemy can’t steal your inheritance without your permission, so he schemes to make you drop it (fumble) or quit early (forfeit). A fumble looks like distraction, discouragement, offense, or shame knocking the ball (harvest-inheritance) loose. A forfeit sounds like, “I’m done,” right before the breakthrough.

But the Word says hold fast. Grip your confession tighter than the pressure around you (Heb. 4:14). You are passing the fields of suffering to reign - so don’t lay your crown down in the field. When stress rises, sing like a bold child; when fear whispers, speak the promise of Our Father's Word louder. You’re not auditioning, you’re advancing. No fumbles. No forfeits. Finish with the ball (harvest-inheritance) in your hands.

Practical Actions (GRIP)

G — Guard your atmosphere: Don’t let Satan hand you a script for today. Open with praise out loud, and walk by Our Father in Heaven's script.

R — Renew your confession: Declare the promise morning/noon/night; write it and speak it, too.

I — Implement small obedience: Be obediently faithful one step at a time - send the email, make the call, show up, speak, and do whatever He leads you to do.

P — Praise like a bold child: Sing bold, unedited, and watch stress break and joy rise.

Prayer

Our Father, strengthen my grip. I yield myself now to refuse distraction, discouragement, and delay. I choose not to drop what You placed in my hands, and I choose not to quit before due season. Fill my mouth with bold praise and my heart with patient endurance. I hold fast, and I choose to finish strong. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
