Don’t Quit
Scripture
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:16–18 (KJV)
Ponder This
Every breakthrough has a barrier, and every barrier tempts us to quit right before breakthrough. The barrier is not proof that progress has stopped; it is often proof that you are advancing. What feels heavy is usually not permanent, it is momentary pressure attempting to interrupt divine wonder.
Scripture does not say the harvest won’t come. It says the harvest comes if we faint not. Quitting is the only thing that turns a temporary barrier into a permanent stopping point.
Breakthrough requires endurance. The inward man is renewed day by day, not by escape, but by continuing. When you refuse to quit, Our Father continues His work, even when nothing appears to change.
Barriers are crossed not by panic, frustration, or force, but by steady obedience and fixed vision. Holy Spirit strengthens resolve when sight grows dim. He reminds us that what we see now is temporary, but what Our Father is producing is eternal.
Do not quit at the barrier. Push through it. The resistance you feel is often guarding what you are about to step into.
Prayer
Our Father, strengthen my resolve when the path feels blocked. I desire not to faint, retreat, or quit. Renew my inward strength by Your Spirit and keep my eyes fixed on what You are producing beyond what I can see. I choose to trust You for the breakthrough. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
