Doorways: What We Open Matters
Scripture
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”
— John 10:9 (KJV)
Ponder This
Doorways represent access. What we open determines what we experience. Every day, choices create doorways...through our thoughts, words, relationships, and responses. Some doors invite peace, truth, and life. Others invite fear, distraction, and compromise to enter.
Jesus reminds us that He is the Door. Not one option among many, but the only doorway that leads to safety, provision, and rest. When we choose Him, we are not restricted, we are protected.
Our Father does not force doors closed. He invites us to choose wisely what we allow access to our hearts. When Christ is our doorway, what enters brings life.
Prayer
Our Father, show us every doorway we have opened without discernment. We ask You to close what does not belong and open what leads us deeper into You. We choose Christ as our Door. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
