Escaping Evil

Escaping Evil

Scripture

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)

Ponder This

We are not powerless. Evil does not overtake us because it is stronger, it overtakes when we forget the way of escape. Our Father never allows temptation without also providing an exit. The question is not, “Is there a way out?”The question is, “Will I take it?”

Sometimes the escape looks like walking away. Sometimes it looks like shutting it down. Sometimes it looks like silence. Sometimes it looks like obedience when your flesh wants to argue.

World Changers must understand: The escape is proof of Our Father’s faithfulness.

You do not escape evil by wrestling it. You escape by choosing righteousness quickly. Evil loses power when you move. Our delay to obey Holy Spirit, will strengthen the power of evil against us. We must obey Holy Spirit to escape.

Prayer

Father, thank You for always providing a way of escape. Sharpen my discernment. Strengthen my will. Thank You for helping me move quickly when You show me the exit. I choose righteousness over reaction. I choose obedience over impulse. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
