Exercise Faith

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
James 2:17
Ponder This
Faith is not just something we believe, it is something we are called to exercise. Just as a muscle grows stronger when it is used, our faith grows stronger when we act upon what Our Father has spoken.
Faith is revealed when we take steps of obedience even when we cannot see the outcome. Faith prays before the answer comes. Faith gives thanks before the breakthrough arrives. Faith obeys before all the details are known.
Sometimes we ask Our Father for greater faith, but He is asking us to use the faith we already have. Every act of obedience strengthens our confidence in Him. Every step we take according to His Word reminds us that He is faithful and true.
World Changers - Exercise your faith. Pray boldly. Trust completely. Obey quickly. Take the next step Our Father has placed before you. As you exercise your faith, you will discover that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

What is one area of my life where Our Father is calling me to move from believing to acting?
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for the gift of faith. Thank You for helping me not only to believe Your Word but to act upon it. Strengthen me to obey even when I do not understand everything. Thank You for teaching me to trust You completely and to walk boldly in the direction You are leading. I choose to exercise my faith - to let it be alive, active, and pleasing to You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
