Hope Just Because

Hope is alive everyday for every living soul!

But how can hope be alive when one is tired, facing the harsh hand life has dealt, suffering in sickness, wounded by brokenness, burdened by grief, and even facing self affliction and/or addiction due to bad choices? Well, when you find yourself here…join the club! You are not alone.

As the human race, the profile above fits us all. However, it is very hard for us to admit it. We must face that we are broken, and hopeless without the Saviour. Until we do this, either we live a life that is false with blindfold, or one that is reckless, diving into greater misery and rebellion, which leads to destruction. Yes, we can assist the devil in his purpose against us…to steal, kill and destroy. All because of pride and independence we tend to reject the truth of brokenness and the true need for Jesus. Jesus is The Saviour…God’s plan for our HOPE and redemption!

The old hymns can give us hope for strength. Do you remember this one hymn….Because He Lives? I can recall it vividly.

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He Lives.

Wow! Thank you Jesus!
