Ponder This
As believers, we often ask Our Father for things He has already provided through Jesus Christ. Through His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus secured an inheritance for whosoever will embrace. This inheritance includes forgiveness, reconciliation, peace, wisdom, righteousness, access to Our Father, the indwelling Holy Spirit, and every spiritual blessing needed to fulfill our assignment.
Embracing our blood-purchased inheritance begins with believing what Our Father has said. We cannot walk in what we do not know, and we cannot enjoy what we refuse to receive. Many believers live beneath their inheritance because they are more aware of their struggles than they are of the promises secured by Christ.
To embrace our inheritance, we must study the Word, renew our minds, and come into agreement with what Our Father says about us. We are no longer slaves to sin, fear, condemnation, or the opinions of others. We are sons and daughters of Our Father, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus.
Today, ask yourself: Am I living as one who has received an inheritance, or am I living as though I am still trying to earn what Christ has already purchased?
Our inheritance is not embraced through striving. It is embraced through faith, obedience, and daily communion with Our Father.
Reflection
What promise of Our Father do I need to stop striving for and start receiving by faith?
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus that purchased my redemption and secured my inheritance. Thank you for helping me to know what You have freely given me through Christ. Open my eyes to Your promises and thank You for teaching me to walk in agreement with Your Word. Thank You for helping me to embrace all that Jesus purchased on my behalf and live as Your beloved child. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Declaration
I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus. I am a child of Our Father. I embrace my blood-purchased inheritance and walk in the promises, freedom, and purpose secured for me through Christ Jesus.
