Study the Word
Scripture
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
— 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
Ponder This
Many of us desire direction, wisdom, and spiritual growth. Be encouraged that Our Father has given us His Word not merely to read occasionally, but to study diligently that we may receive the upgrades we need to be more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.
When we study Scripture, we learn His character, understand His promises, recognize His voice, and gain discernment for daily living.
Studying the Word is more than gathering information, it is an invitation into transformation. The more we spend time in Scripture, the more our thoughts align with His thoughts and our hearts become sensitive to His leading. The Word equips us to stand firm in truth, resist deception, and walk confidently in our calling.
As the Bride of Christ, we must ask ourselves: Am I studying the Word to know Our Father more deeply, or am I only turning to Scripture when I need an answer? A disciple who studies the Word develops spiritual strength to stand.
Today, let us freshly commit to being students of His Word. Open the Scriptures with expectation, ask Holy Spirit for understanding, and allow truth to shape every area of your life.
Reflection
Am I consistently studying Our Father’s Word or only reading it occasionally?
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for giving us Your Word as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Create in me a hunger to study the Scriptures and to know You more deeply. Give me wisdom, understanding, and discernment as I read. Help me rightly divide the Word of truth and faithfully apply it to my life. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Declare
I am a student of Our Father’s Word. His truth guides my steps, renews my mind, and equips me to fulfill His purpose for my life.
