Let the Scripture Read You
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
— Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
The Word of God (scripture) does more than inform you, it reads you. It reveals what’s hidden, heals what’s hurting, and strengthens what’s weak. And the enemy knows this. If he can steal your scripture reading, he will try to insert his script into your thoughts.
You don’t have to force understanding. Just show up. One verse can shift your entire day. Let the Word sit with you… and let it read your heart.
Prayer
Father God, open my eyes and my heart to Your Word (scriptures). Remove distractions and dullness. Give me a desire to engage with Your Scripture, for it to read me, cleanse me, correct me, and comfort me. Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Teacher today and always. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Activation
Choose one verse today. Read it slowly. Sit with it for at least 2 minutes. Ask: “Holy Spirit, what are You revealing in me through this?” Write down one sentence you hear or sense. It helps to keep a journal.
Declaration
Scripture reads me, leads me, and strengthens me. The enemy will not script my thoughts. I receive clarity, hunger, and fresh revelation today.
