Live with Boldness

Live with Boldness

Scripture

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Ponder This

1. Boldness is a Command, Not a Suggestion

Our Father doesn’t simply “encourage” Joshua to be courageous, He commands it. Boldness is not optional for believers; it is necessary for walking in the promises of Our Father. Fear and discouragement may knock at the door, but courage is a decision to trust Our Heavenly Father's Word above your feelings.

2. Boldness Rests in Our Father's Presence

Joshua was facing the unknown, but Our Father assured him: “I will be with you wherever you go.” True boldness is not about our strength but about the presence of Our Father. When we know He is with us, there is no place too intimidating and no assignment too overwhelming.

3. Boldness Leads to Breakthrough

Joshua’s courage wasn’t just for himself; it was for the people he was leading into the Promised Land. Your boldness may be the breakthrough someone else is waiting for. When you step out, you inspire others to believe and move forward in faith.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being with me wherever I go. I do not want to house fear and discouragement in my heart. Strengthen me to live boldly, not in my own power but in the assurance of Your presence. Help me step into every promise You’ve prepared for me. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Reflection Questions

1. Where is Our Father calling me to be bold in this season?

2. What fears do I need to surrender so I can walk in courage?

3. How can my boldness inspire and encourage others around me?
