Living Out His Ministry

Living Out His Ministry

Scripture

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

— 2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV)

Ponder This

When Jesus walked the earth, His ministry was marked by good news, healing, freedom, and compassion. Now, He has entrusted that mission to us. We are His hands and feet, His voice and heart in this world.

Proclaiming Good News: Do the words I speak point others to hope, or do they add to the noise of fear and doubt?

Bringing Healing: Am I available to be a safe place where hearts can be mended and burdens can be lifted? Healing often comes through kindness, listening, and prayer.

Offering Freedom: Do I help others lay down their chains - reminding them of what Jesus did for the world on the cross and in resurrection - or do my attitudes sometimes keep people bound in shame?

Reflecting Compassion: When I see someone in need, do I move with the heart of Christ, or do I walk past quickly, too busy or too distracted?

This question is not meant to condemn, but to align us back to His purpose. It’s an invitation to let His Spirit flow through us. Jesus’ ministry continues whenever His people live out His message with words and actions.

Application

Pause today and ask Holy Spirit: Where can I proclaim? Where can I bring healing? Where can I offer freedom? Where can I reflect compassion? Small, faithful steps carry eternal weight.

Prayer

Papa, thank You for trusting me to carry the ministry of Jesus forward. I choose to be mindful of my words and actions today - help me. Anoint me to proclaim hope, bring healing, release freedom, and reflect Your compassion. I yield my life to be a living testimony of Your love. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Activation

One Action Today (at minimum): Choose one person and intentionally do one of these - share encouragement, pray for their healing, speak freedom over them, or show compassion through a simple act of kindness.

• Afterwards, reflect on how Papa used you, and give Him the glory!!!
