Resting in the Arm of Jehovah Miphalti

Resting in the Arm of Jehovah Miphalti

Scripture

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

— Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)

Ponder This

Zechariah 4 reminds us: deliverance is never the result of our effort. Zerubbabel could not move the mountain before him by strategy or strength, it would bow only to the Spirit of the Lord.

Deliverance functions the same for us. The strongman is not overthrown by force, emotion, or pressure. Jehovah Miphalti, The Lord My Deliverer, is the One who breaks the power of darkness. Our part is not strain but surrender.

When we recognize Him as Deliverer:

• striving stops

• fear loses influence

• faith becomes rest

• gratitude rises

And gratitude grows into devotion; a devotion to the cause of deliverance. Those who have watched Jehovah Miphalti deliver them become vessels who desire to see Him deliver others. Not by our power…but by His Spirit working through willing, submitted vessels.

Deliverance begins with:

Rest → Recognition → Devotion → Availability.

Prayer

Our Father, we choose to rest in Your arm today. You are Jehovah Miphalti, our Deliverer. Break every place where we lean on our own strength. Thank You for training our hearts to recognize Your hand, trust Your Spirit, and follow Your lead. We choose to be thankful for Your deliverance in our own lives, and devoted to Your cause of setting others free. Use us as vessels of Your Spirit - never by our might, never by our power, nor by the power of any other, but always by You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
