“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Ponder This

A second seems so small. Blink, and it’s gone. Yet, life is made up of seconds, not just years. Every conversation, every prayer whispered, every decision, happens in the span of a second.

Seconds can shift entire stories:

• In one second, a word can heal or wound.

• In one second, a prayer can open Heaven’s door.

• In one second, obedience can change the trajectory of a life.

Our Father moves in moments we often overlook. While we wait for the "big breakthroughs," He’s working in ways we know not within seconds. What we do with these passing moments determines how we build our days, our character, and our territories He has assigned us.

Activation

When you become aware of the seconds:

1. Slow down - Don’t rush past Our Father's quiet nudges.

2. Sow purposefully - Speak life, offer kindness, pray quickly. Don’t wait for “someday.”

3. Stay present - Our Father often releases grace in the now, not just in the future.

Prayer

Father, thank You for every second You’ve given me. Thank You for helping me to value the moments that seem small, and to use them wisely. Help me to be present, purposeful, and sensitive to Your voice in each second. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Declaration

I will live every second with purpose. Our Father is in my moments.
