Strengthened During the Wait

Strengthened During the Wait

Scripture

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Ponder This

Waiting can feel like the hardest test of faith. You’ve prayed, prepared, and positioned yourself, yet the promise hasn’t shown up in full. But what you may not realize is that the wait is the workout. Our Father isn’t withholding the promise; He’s strengthening you to carry it.

When your faith feels stretched between expectation and promise, you are in divine training. Every moment of waiting is building endurance, deepening trust, and teaching you how to rest in Our Father’s timing. What feels like delay is actually development. Heaven is aligning what your heart has been believing.

So don’t despise the wait, embrace it. Worship through it. Speak life into it. You are not standing still; you are standing strong.

Declaration

I am being strengthened during the wait. My faith is maturing, my patience is producing, and my hope is alive. I trust that Our Father’s timing is perfect, and I believe that what He promised will surely come to pass.

Prayer

Father, thank You for teaching me how to wait well. Strengthen me in the process. Thank You for reminding me that waiting is never wasted when I’m waiting in You. Help me rest in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for my good. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Activation

• Instead of saying, “I’m tired of waiting,” declare: “I’m being strengthened while I wait.”

• Each morning, thank Our Father for what He’s doing in you during the wait, not just what you’re waiting for.
