Sunburst!

A call for the saints to rejoice and roll with the reigning authority of Christ Jesus!!!

Ponder This

When the sun breaks through the clouds in a brilliant sunburst, the atmosphere shifts. What was dim is suddenly flooded with warmth and light. The color orange mirrors this burst; it’s created when the deep, redeeming red of Christ’s passion and blood is blended with the yellow brilliance of Our Father’s glory, joy, and light. Together, they produce a radiant hue that announces: “The King reigns, and His people shine!”

Orange is not a timid color, it’s bold, bright, and impossible to ignore. Spiritually, this “sunburst” moment represents the Church rising in the blended power of love and light. Red reminds us of Christ’s finished work. His authority was purchased through His blood. Yellow reflects His joy and divine radiance breaking through us. When these collide, saints become living sunbursts: expressions of Our Father’s reigning presence on earth.

“Get your veils ready!” Just like Moses came down from the mountain so radiant that he had to cover his face before the people (Exodus 34:29–35), Our Father’s glory is about to burst forth from His people in a way that will make others take notice. Your glow is about to become glorious! Don’t shrink back; this isn’t the time to dim down. It’s the time to let His light blaze through you with joyful authority.

Just like a sunset’s brilliant orange sky signals a transition into a new season, Our Father is stirring His people to step out of dullness and into divine display. He’s blending what He has placed in you -your fire, your joy, your faith - with His Heavenly authority. This is not a season to hide under a bushel. It’s a time to shine, rejoice, and roll forward with Christ’s reigning authority, declaring His glory in every space you enter.

Reflection:

Where is Our Father inviting you to burst forth with His light and passion? Are there areas where you’ve been holding back your fire or hiding your light? He’s calling you to let the full blend of His authority and joy radiate through you.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for calling me into a sunburst season! Let the red of Your redeeming power and the yellow of Your radiant glory blend in me. Break through every cloud of doubt, fear, or weariness. I choose to rejoice and roll with Your reigning authority. Shine through me as a bold expression of Your Kingdom on earth. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
