The Strongman

The Strongman

Scripture

“No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.”

Mark 3:27 (KJV)

Ponder This

Jesus made deliverance simple: You cannot break the smaller things until you deal with the main thing (spirit) holding them together. That “main thing” is the strongman. So how do you identify it?

The strongman is always the thing (spirit) that:

1. Shows up first. Before the behavior, before the emotion, before the reaction - it steps forward.

2. Shows up strongest. It feels heavier, louder, more stubborn, and more controlling than the rest.

3. Feeds the other issues

It is the power source behind the pattern. If you remove it, everything else weakens.

4. Protects the lie. Strongmen guard beliefs like:

• “This will never change.”

• “This is just how I am.”

• “There’s no point in trying.”

5. Creates a long-term cycle. When something keeps repeating despite effort, prayer, or trying to change - you’re no longer dealing with a symptom, you’re dealing with a strongman.

You identify the strongman by asking one question: Holy Spirit: “What is the one thing keeping all of this in place?”

That’s your strongman. Bind that, and the whole house is free.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for Holy Spirit guidance and revelation. Thank You for showing me the strongman behind patterns. I ask for more clarity, wisdom, and accuracy. I desire and choose to align freshly with my DNA in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name. Amen.
