Training Through Obedience
Scripture
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
James 1:22 (KJV)
Ponder This
Deliverance authority is not only built by scripture intake, it is strengthened by scripture application. Hearing the Word fills you. Doing the Word forms you. This is the step where many believers lose power. They hear truth, but they do not practice truth. James says this leads to self-deception - the most dangerous deception of all.
If we are going to confront spirits, we cannot be deceived by our own disobedience.
Your Training Focus Today: Obedience
Ask Holy Spirit to train you to:
• obey quickly
• obey fully
• obey without arguing
• obey without delay
• obey even when uncomfortable
• obey when no one sees
• obey when it costs you
Deliverance requires a clean conscience, and obedience is how you stay clean (pure).
Why Obedience Builds Deliverance Authority:
• sharpens discernment
• silences the flesh
• keeps the heart soft
• strengthens spiritual hearing
• closes demonic entry points
• increases spiritual authority
• aligns you with Heaven’s agenda
• makes you a vessel Heaven can trust and use
Spirits recognize obedience. Hell respects obedience. Heaven backs obedience.
This is how Jesus walked in perfect authority. He always did the will of Our Father.
Activation: Training Through Obedience
Ask Holy Spirit:
• “What instruction have I delayed?”
• “Where have I hesitated?”
• “What have You told me that I minimized?”
• “What do You want me to obey today?”
Then do it.
Obedience is your training ground. Obedience is your sharpening stone. Obedience is your preparation for deliverance.
Prayer
Father God, train my heart to obey. Remove resistance. I don't desire to yield my energy to excuses. Remove hesitation from me. Make my obedience quick, pure, and joyful. I desire and choose to align with Your will so my vessel stays clean, strong, and ready for Your glory and use to progress The Kingdom of God. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
