What Did He Reveal to You?
Read Amos 3 for your personal Bible reading time. This will help you with greater understanding.
Scripture
“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
— Amos 3:7 (KJV)
Amos 3 shows us something powerful about the heart of Our Father. He does not act without first revealing. Before correction, He speaks. Before shifting seasons, He alerts us. Before doors close, He warns. Before new assignments, He prepares. Revelation is not random, it is His mercy.
Israel in Amos’ day had relationship with Our Father, but they stopped responding to what He revealed. They heard, but didn’t adjust. They knew, but didn’t change. And that is where danger lives - not in not knowing, but in ignoring.
Our Father reveals because He desires alignment, not punishment. His revealing is an invitation to come closer, and walk straighter.
Revelation carries responsibility. What He showed you in prayer. The scripture He highlighted to you. The conviction He stirred in your heart. What truth became clearer to you.
That was not just insight, it was instruction. Amos reminds us that nothing moves in the spirit without cause. If Our Father is revealing something to you today, it is because something is shifting, growing, or needing adjustment.
So ask yourself: Did I just receive it… or did I respond to it? What He reveals is never for information only, it is for transformation.
Prayer
Our Father, thank You for revelation. Thank You that You speak before You act. Help me not just to hear what You show me, but to respond with obedience. Make my heart soft to Your correction, sensitive to Your voice, and faithful with the light You give me. I desire and choose for every revelation you give me to lead me closer to Your will. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
