Be Wise to Produce the Plans of God

Scripture Reference: Matthew 7:24-25 (NIV)

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

As we continue from yesterday's call to act, Jesus reminds us of the importance of not just hearing but also applying His word. Faith is not passive—it is active and requires a firm foundation built on action and obedience. Like a house built on a rock, our faith becomes unshakeable when it is practiced, not just professed.

Jesus calls us to be doers, not just hearers. Life will inevitably bring challenges, but those who build their lives on the foundation of Christ—through obedience and service—will stand firm.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, help me to not only hear Your Word but to put it into action. Give me the strength to stand strong to live out my faith, building my life on the foundation of Your truth, and to diligently stand courageously to produce the work that You have purposed my hands to do. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
