Climb Higher to Lead Others Up

Climb Higher to Lead Others Up

Scripture:

“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, not sworn deceitfully.”

— Psalm 24:3-4 (KJV)

Reflection: The Call to Go Higher

Spiritual blindness is real. Many around us are stumbling in darkness, unable to see the truth of God’s presence. But before we can lead others to the light, we must first go to the mountain of the Lord ourselves.

Elijah climbed Mount Horeb to hear God’s voice. Moses ascended Mount Sinai to receive revelation. Jesus went to the mountain to pray before His greatest moments of ministry. Each of them had their eyes opened in God’s presence, preparing them to lead others.

If we want to help others see, we must first see clearly ourselves. We must go higher, beyond distractions, beyond comfort, beyond fear, to encounter God so we can come back down empowered to lead others.

Why Must We Climb First?

1. Our Eyes Must Be Opened First

“The entrance of thy words giveth light” (Psalm 119:130).

• We cannot guide others if we are spiritually blind ourselves. Revelation comes in the secret place.

2. The Mountain is Where We Are Equipped

“And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount” (Exodus 24:15).

• In God’s presence, we receive wisdom, strength, and anointing for the journey.

3. We Are Called to Lead Others Up

• Jesus took Peter, James, and John up the mountain, where their eyes were opened to His glory (Matthew 17:1-2).

• Our encounters with God are not just for us, they prepare us to bring others higher.

A Call to Action:

Go to the mountain. Seek His face. Let God open your eyes, so you can lead others to Him.

Prayer:

Lord, I choose to ascend to Your holy mountain. Open my eyes to see Your truth, equip me with wisdom, and help me guide others into Your presence. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Go higher - so you can lead others higher.
