Conditioned for This Time

Conditioned for This Time

Scripture: Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Devotion:

Have you ever felt like the challenges ahead of you are too great? Like what God is calling you to do requires more strength, wisdom, or grace than you have within yourself? Here’s the truth: You are conditioned for this time. Not by your own power, but by His Spirit that lives within you.

The word “conditioned” speaks of preparation, training, and equipping. God doesn’t send His children into purpose ill-prepared. Every trial, setback, and victory has been part of your conditioning. You have been strengthened through adversity, refined through testing, and empowered by His Spirit.

Just as athletes undergo rigorous training to reach peak performance, God has been developing your faith, resilience, and wisdom. When Paul said, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength,” he acknowledged the source of his conditioning: Jesus Christ.

You are not just able to do what He has called you to do - you are conditioned for it. Conditioned by His Word, His Spirit, and His faithfulness.

Reflection:

What area of your life feels overwhelming or beyond your ability? Ask God to remind you that you are conditioned for this. Embrace the training process and lean into His strength.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for conditioning me for victorious spiritual warfare. I know that I can submit to You and experience Your strength that is within me. I trust that You equipped me and will continue to strengthen me for every good work. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
