Conquering Thrones: Overcoming the Seat of Satan
A Word to the Ekklesia - The Called-Out, Set-Apart, and Sent Ones:
Scripture:
“I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
— Revelation 2:13(KJV)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
— Revelation 2:17 (KJV)
Ponder This:
We are not gathered for titles. We’re not here for religious activity. We are assembled for Kingdom conquest. Jesus spoke directly to Pergamos - a city full of influence, compromise, and corruption. It was called “where Satan’s throne is.” Imagine living where Satan had a visible seat of authority through government, false religion, and culture. Yet even there, Jesus said, “You held on to My name. You didn’t deny My faith.”
But faithfulness is not the full measure if we tolerate compromise. Pergamos allowed mixture to sit in the house. They held fast to the name but failed to confront what weakened their authority. That is not who we are called to be.
The 7 Mountains of Influence Are Today’s Pergamos:
The enemy still sets up his thrones, wherever influence shapes culture. The 7 Mountains of Influence are where this battle plays out:
1. Government
2. Media
3. Arts & Entertainment
4. Business & Economy
5. Education
6. Family
7. Religion
These are not just areas of society, these are battlefields where the Ekklesia is called to govern, not blend in. These are places where light must confront darkness and where compromise must bow to truth.
How the Ekklesia Conquers:
• We stand for truth without apology.
• We refuse mixture and spiritual laziness.
• We discern what is of God and what is cultural deception.
• We do not conform for comfort. We confront for Kingdom advancement.
The Word is our sword. Purity is our posture. Boldness is our assignment. We are not afraid of Satan’s seat because we are seated in Christ. Wherever God sends us - we take territory.
What We Must Conquer:
• The temptation to trade holiness for opportunity, influence, or convenience.
• The lie that sin doesn’t matter, that grace covers everything while truth is ignored.
• Any influence trying to normalize unrighteousness while silencing righteousness.
What Overcomers Receive (Revelation 2:17):
Hidden Manna: Spiritual nourishment, strength, and clarity for those who stand.
White Stone: The seal of approval, favor, and access from the Father - Heaven’s “yes” over your life.
New Name: Your identity tied to purpose, not your past - an identity rooted in victory and authority.
Declaration:
We will not bow to the throne of Satan on any mountain. We will not tolerate what Heaven has called us to overthrow. We will not trade Kingdom assignment for cultural acceptance. We are the Ekklesia - the governing Body, sent to confront, conquer, and reclaim territory. We receive Heaven’s hidden manna. We carry the white stone of authority. We answer to the name Heaven has written over us -victorious, righteous, overcomers.
Prayer:
Lord God, sharpen our discernment and strengthen our stance. Expose the thrones the enemy has built around us and show us how to take them down. We choose to walk boldly in purity, truth, and spiritual authority. Feed us with what we need to keep moving forward. Thank You for marking us with Heaven’s approval and reminding us of the name You’ve already given us - overcomers, warriors, builders, and reformers. We accept the assignment to take territory on every mountain You’ve called us to. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
