Do You Trust His Heart?

Do You Trust His Heart?

Scripture

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

-Proverbs 3:5 KJV

Ponder This

There are times when our Heavenly Father's hand feels hidden. The path may not make sense, the prayers may seem delayed, and the outcomes don’t line up with what we hoped. In those moments, the question presses close: Do you trust His heart?

Trusting His heart means believing that His intentions toward you are always good, even when the process feels painful. It means resting in the truth that He is a gracious Father who cannot fail, whose love remains constant regardless of circumstances. His hand may move in ways we don’t understand, but His heart never shifts away from compassion, mercy, and covenant love.

When disappointment whispers, “ He has forgotten you,” His heart says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). When fear suggests He will leave you, His heart says, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5).

To trust His heart is to anchor yourself in His character - not in the storm, not in the delay, not in the silence. His heart is for you, and His heart is steady and unfailing.

Prayer

Gracious Father, I choose to trust not just what You do, but who You are. When I cannot trace Your hand, I desire to trust Your heart. Root me in Your love so deeply that no circumstance can shake my confidence in You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
