Don’t Bow Down

Scripture Focus:

“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and He will deliver us from Your Majesty's hand. But even if He does not we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

Thought:

There will always be moments in life when pressure demands your posture. The world says, “Bow down to fear. Bow down to culture. Bow down to convenience.” But Kingdom Ambassadors say, “No compromise. No bowing.”

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood tall while everyone else bowed low. Not because they weren’t afraid, but because their allegiance to God outweighed the risk of the fire.

God didn’t remove the fire. He stepped into it with them.

Prayer:

Lord God, give me the strength to stand when everything around me tells me to bow under pressure. I choose to bow to Your will - to be of good courage and strong. I put my trust in you, that You are my fire-fighting Deliverer. I trust You...even if things may not go the way I want them to go. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
