I encourage you to read 1 Corinthians 2 in its entirety.
Highlighting...
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived—the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NIV)
In 1 Corinthians Chapter 2, Paul emphasizes that true wisdom comes not from human intellect or reasoning, but from the Spirit of God. As we deepen our friendship with God, we begin to understand His wisdom, which transcends worldly knowledge. This chapter reminds us that God reveals His heart and His plans to those who are close to Him—those who walk by the Spirit.
God’s Spirit as Our Guide
Through our friendship with God, His Spirit becomes our guide, revealing the mysteries of God’s wisdom. We can’t grasp these truths through human effort, but as we draw near to God, the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to see His plans and purposes. This intimacy with God is what sets us apart, enabling us to live with divine understanding.
Friendship with God Through His Spirit
Walking closely with God means relying not on our own strength or wisdom but on the Spirit’s guidance. As 1 Corinthians 2:12 reminds us, “We have received... the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.” In friendship with God, we receive the gift of divine insight, allowing us to navigate life with a heavenly perspective.
