Flame-Carrying Conversations

Flame-Carrying Conversations

Scripture:

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.” (Hebrews 10:24, KJV)

Ponder This:

Words are never neutral. They either ignite or extinguish. As flame carriers, our conversations are meant to spark something eternal - faith, love, obedience, and boldness in those around us.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to refine our tongues, our words become like fire from God’s altar (Isaiah 6:6–7). That fire doesn’t burn people down - it burns compromise, doubt, and fear. It lights a path toward obedience.

Every conversation is an opportunity:

• To provoke someone toward good works, not gossip.

• To fan faith into flame, not feed fear.

• To call forth obedience, not disobedience.

Takeaway: Flame carriers don’t waste words. They refine them. They release words that provoke others into Kingdom action.

Prayer:

Almighty Father in Heaven, refine my tongue. Make my conversations like sparks from Your fire-igniting obedience, provoking love, and stirring up good works in others. Let me carry flame with every word I speak. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
