Following Through with Obedience

Scripture Focus: Galatians 6:9

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Reflection:

Obedience to God’s calling isn’t always easy; challenges arise, and weariness can set in. But God sees our efforts and calls us to persevere, reminding us that our labor in Him is never in vain. When we commit to following through with obedience, we invite God’s strength into our weakness. Every small act of obedience builds toward a harvest that only He can bring.

When we press forward, even in difficulty, we align our steps with His purpose. He promises that as we continue faithfully, He will complete the work through us and bring His blessings in due time.

Practical Step:

Each time you feel discouraged, pause and pray: “Lord, help me to see beyond this moment and trust in the harvest You have planned.” Write down one reason why you’re grateful to serve God today. Let that gratitude fuel your next step of obedience.

Closing Prayer:

Father, strengthen me to follow through with obedience, even when it’s hard. Help me to remember that my labor in You is not wasted. Keep my heart steadfast and my spirit willing. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
