God Multiplies What You Give Him

God Multiplies What You Give Him

Main Scripture:

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

– Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

Devotion:

God doesn’t just give a little, He gives more than enough. That’s what exponential means, when something grows bigger and faster than we expected. And that’s how God works. He takes what we give Him and makes it much more.

In Genesis 22:17, God said to Abraham:“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all nations of the earth be blessed; because thy has obeyed my voice.” God didn’t say He would just add, He said He would multiply. That’s what He wants to do for us too.

Moses told the people in Deuteronomy 1:11: “(The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)” God doesn’t want you to stay stuck, He wants you to grow, to move forward, and to be blessed in ways that affect generations.

2 Corinthians 9:10 says:“Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.” Whatever you give to God, whether it’s your time, your help, your prayers, or your resources, He is able to multiply it. Nothing is too small when it’s in His hands.

But it all begins inside. Ephesians 3:20 says it happens “according to the power that worketh in us.” That power is the Holy Spirit. When you believe God can do more, and you move by faith, He causes increase to flow from within you and around you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God of multiplication. I give You all that I have, and I trust You to do more than I can ask or think. I choose to let Your power work in me. I choose to embrace Your process. Have Your way to multiply my faith, my impact, and my obedience for Your glory. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Today’s Reflection:

What seed are you giving to God today? Trust Him to multiply it.
