God Will Fight for You: A Prayer of Deliverance

God Will Fight for You: A Prayer of Deliverance

Scripture:

Psalm 35:1 (KJV)

Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

Ponder This:

Psalm 35 is a powerful prayer of deliverance. It is David’s heartfelt cry for God to intervene against those who were attacking, lying, and plotting against him without cause. David wasn’t seeking revenge, he was seeking God’s protection, God’s justice, and God’s deliverance.

This psalm reminds us that God is a Defender of the innocent, a Protector of the wronged, and a Deliverer of those in distress. When battles seem unfair, when people rise against you, when you feel slandered or betrayed, this prayer still speaks: “Lord, plead my cause. Fight for me.”

Psalm 35 shows us it’s not only okay but necessary to take our pain, our confusion, and our battles to God. He is the One who can turn situations around. He sees what others don’t. He moves in ways we cannot. Deliverance doesn’t come through striving, it comes through trusting the One who fights for us.

Reflection:

Are you trying to fight a battle that belongs to God? Pray Psalm 35 over your situation. Trust that your deliverance is in His hands.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for being my Defender and my Deliverer. You see every injustice, every betrayal, and every attack. I turn the battle(s) over to You. Fight for me and my family, protect us, and bring forth Your righteous justice in Your perfect timing. I trust You, and I rest in Your deliverance. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Declaration:

Psalm 35 is my prayer of deliverance. God is fighting for me, and I will see His victory in my life. I am never alone.
