Grace Redeemed = Favor
Scripture
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.”
– Ephesians 1:7-8
Ponder This
Grace is not just a concept, it’s a divine exchange. Through Christ, we are redeemed by grace, and that redemption ushers us into Our Father's favor. Favor means we walk in doors we didn’t qualify for, receive blessings we couldn’t earn, and experience protection we don’t deserve.
Redemption wipes away our past mistakes, but grace doesn’t stop there, it clothes us in Our Father's favor so we can move forward with confidence. This is why Paul said His grace was “lavished” on us. Lavished means overflowing, more than enough, abundant.
When you recognize that grace has redeemed you, you stop striving to earn approval. Instead, you begin walking in favor as a child of Our Father. Every place your foot treads, every assignment He gives, you can declare: “I am not here by chance; I am here by grace, and His favor surrounds me like a shield” (Psalm 5:12).
Reflection Questions
1. Where have I been striving to earn approval instead of resting in grace?
2. How has Our Father's favor already shown up in my life in ways I could not explain?
3. What would change if I fully believed I am both redeemed by grace and positioned in favor?
Prayer
Father, thank You for redeeming me through the blood of Jesus. I receive Your grace not just as forgiveness, but as a constant flow of favor in my life. Thank You for reminding me daily that I walk covered, surrounded, and lifted by Your favor. I choose to live as a testimony that grace redeems and favor positions. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Activation
Write down the areas of your life where you need the favor of The Lord. Then boldly declare over each one:“I am redeemed by grace, and favor is mine in this area.”
