He Carried Me

Ever lost your footing? A time when your strength failed is a good example. Footprints in the Sand is a great reference. We are taught to walk on our own. But, the moments when we can no longer carry our own weight, devastation is felt as distress. But, in those times, development occurs. Maybe that is the point…an intimate encounter to learn of  El Roi, the God that sees me.

Hagar, an egyptian slave in distress, has an encounter with El Roi. Read about it in Genesis 16.
