I Choose to Let I AM Take Over
Scripture: “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
– John 3:30 (KJV)
Devotion:
There’s a shift in the spirit when you stop surviving in your own strength and start surrendering to the One who is strength. The Great I AM - Jehovah, the all-sufficient One, is not looking to simply dwell; He wants to take over.
He doesn’t enter our lives to be an accessory. He comes as the Consuming Fire, the Ruler of Glory, the Commander of Purpose. And when He takes over, everything changes. Confusion clears. Weakness becomes strength. Stagnation breaks into momentum.
This takeover doesn’t begin with force, it begins with choice. Heaven waits for your "Yes."
Declaration:
I choose to let I AM take over. I choose to decrease so He can rise in me. I choose to release fear and embrace faith. I choose to surrender my plans so His purpose can prevail. I choose obedience over comfort, fire over ease, and holiness over hype. I choose to open every room in my life, no more locked doors, no more halfway surrender. I choose to be overtaken, overshadowed, and overfilled by the power and presence of I AM.
When I choose Him fully, I don’t lose, I become. I become a carrier of His glory. I become a voice of His power. I become a vessel for His use.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I choose You. Not just in word, but in action. I choose to lay down every weight, every fear, and every excuse. I choose to let I AM take over. I am asking You to consume every part of me. Increase in me until all that remains is Your will, Your Word, and Your wonder. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
