Let His Glory Shine in and Through You

Today's Reading: Read Psalms 24

Scripture Focus:

Psalm 24:7-8: “Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”

Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Colossians 1:27: “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

God’s glory represents His majesty and strength, His righteousness, and His presence. As Psalm 24 encourages, we are to open our hearts to let the King of glory fill every part of us. This glory doesn’t stay hidden; it transforms and overflows, touching those around us. Jesus also teaches in Matthew 5:16 that letting our light shine is a way to point others to God.

Ways to Let His Glory Shine:

1. Welcome His Presence – Ask the King of glory to come into every part of your life, surrendering in faith.

2. Reflect His Light – In our everyday actions, seek to reflect Christ, the hope of glory, in you (Colossians 1:27).

3. Demonstrate His Love – Shine His love through kindness and good works, leading others to see and glorify God.

Prayer:

Lord, come in as the King of glory. Fill me and let Your love, strength, and goodness shine through me. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
