Let Nothing Separate Us

Let Nothing Separate Us

Scripture:

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

—Romans 8:38–39 (NKJV)

Devotion:

There is no force in the natural or spiritual realm strong enough to sever the connection between God and His people. Yet sometimes, it’s not external forces but internal doubts, guilt, or life’s pressures that make us feel distant from His love.

But feelings are not facts, and God’s love is not fragile, nor conditional, nor can it fail.

His love isn’t based on our performance, our consistency, or our perfection. It is anchored in Christ, a love proven on the Cross and sealed through the resurrection throughout eternity. Whether we’re on the mountain of joy or in the valley of grief, His love remains unchanged and unshaken.

Paul declared this truth boldly, not just for himself, but for the Ecclesia: Nothing shall separate us. Not past mistakes. Not present struggles. Not future fears. Not even our wandering hearts.

The real question isn’t, "Will His love leave us?" The real question is, "Will we stay rooted in it?"

Today, make a fresh decision to let nothing - no fear, no failure, no storm - separate us from experiencing the love of God. Run toward it. Rest in it. Let it hold us, heal us, and carry us.

Declaration:

We are fully known and fully loved. No mistake can cancel His mercy. No lie can override His truth. We will not let fear, shame, or hardship separate us from experiencing the depths of His love towards us.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for a love that never fails and never fades. When life shakes us, thank You for anchoring us in Your presence. When lies are presented to us, You will always remind us of Your truth. We choose today to let nothing, not circumstances, thoughts, or trials, separate us from the joy of knowing and experiencing Your love. Today, we choose to abide, to believe, and to be bold in Your affection, and to extend Your love to others. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
